spread some bliss: Spotlight Saturday

Misery loves company.

But laughter? Laughter does too: gut-busting, so-intense-no-sound-comes out, doubled-over, tears-spilling-over laughter . . . it's the best thing ever. (My husband and I just recovered from an exhausting and thoroughly satisfying bout of hilarity, faces red, stomachs aching, eyes wet. Is there any better cure?)

And bliss? Bliss is contagious too. Liv Lane, lighter of souls, beauty-finder, bliss-bringer, has done it again--brightened my life. I came off a serious case of the grumps yesterday by discovering her link on Facebook to a brand new adventure: The Little Bliss List. I dare you to read the joy in her post and the following comments . . . and not smile. Just try it. I was pretty grumpy before. Honest. And now? A good dose of bliss and laughter later? Well, life doesn't seem so flippin' serious.

That's what it's all about, isn't it? We can spread negativity, darkness, frustration, hopelessness in the world . . . or we can choose positivity, light, gratitude, hope. 'Cause whichever one we pick--we'll see expand in our lives . . . and the lives of those around us.

I dunno about you, but I'd sure rather have more bliss.
